Maria De Los Angeles Combs

Maria De Los Angeles Combs, also known as Angie, a long-time resident of Houston passed away at her home peacefully on December 23, 2020 at the age of 72. She was born October 1, 1948 in Mexico City, Mexico. Angie attended Escuela Secundaria 18. After that she attended a business academy and graduated in 1964. Angie attended another academy to learn English for one year. Angie and her family then immigrated to the United States on November 6, 1966.  Angie then went on to become a Line Manager for the shipping line named Concord Line for Biehl & Co. Angie also dabbled in entrepreneurship and was a hard worker her whole life. On June 10, 1983 she married Jack Combs, a high steel iron worker and the love of her life. Angie had three beautiful children who she loved dearly.

Angie was a devoted wife and mother who put herself second for her family. She enjoyed travelling, puzzles, movies, socializing, animals, particularly her dog Wallie, and most importantly spending time with her grandsons. Angie was a devote Catholic and was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

Angie is survived by her husband Jack Combs; her daughter, Lorena Huerta, her husband Erricos Durham; her son Nicholas Combs, his wife Mei Combs and their two children – Travis and Damon; and her daughter Jacquelyn Combs, her fiancé Dakota Baxter; her sisters, Lucha Garcia, Silvia Huerta, and Marina Manuel.

She is preceded in death by her mother Martha Huerta, father Eduardo Huerta, and sister Virginia Rosales.
