Marjorie Louise Allen

Marjorie L. Allen was born January 19, 1945 in Long Beach, California to the late Marie (Welch) and Charles Lewis, and died Thursday, February 14, 2019 in Houston, Texas surrounded by her family.

Marjorie was a very loving Momma, Granny, Grandma and Nanna. She has lived in Jasper, Texas for the last 27 years and enjoyed her work as a sales associate in the Jewelry Department at Wal-Mart until retiring in 2013. After retiring, she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, traveling, shopping, cooking and attending church. Our momma had one of the biggest hearts and she was beautiful inside and out. Most of all, she loved to make people smile and laugh including herself.

Marjorie L. Allen is survived by her daughter Jamie Smith and her husband Kris Smith, her son Terry Allen, her daughter Brenda Bonnerjee and her husband Avik Bonnerjee, her adopted sister Christine Cowen (Wimberly) and husband Chris Cowen and her brother-in-law Arthur Jetton. Grandchildren, Shannon Pearson and her husband Darren Pearson, Steven Allen, Matthew Smith, Garrett Bonnerjee, Andrew Smith, Samuel Smith and Shaily Bonnerjee. Great Grandchildren, Cambrie Michelle Allen and Hadleigh Grace Goldstein and numerous other nieces and nephews and a host of her friends that were like her family.
