Mary Helen Cordoba

On Saturday, April 18, 2020, Mary Helen Cordoba, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away at the age of 74. She was born in El Campo, Texas, to Manual Zepeda and Petra Barrerra on July 28, 1945.

Mary Helen was a member of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Houston, Texas. She was involved in several ministries in the parish during the thirty-eight years she was a parishner, in particular starting Perpetual Adoration and coordinating the ministry for several years.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband of fifty six years, Joe, son James Cordoba, daughter Terri Adams, grandchildren Danielle Adams, Sarah Adams and Luke Adams, sisters Emma Perez and Selia Benavidez.

She is gone but never forgotten, leaving her loving memories in all our hearts, especially all the fun filled times full of laughter and joking. Remembering her beauty and gorgeous face and personality. She was not bashful and never met a stranger. She was always ready to help anyone in any way that she could. Her legacy to our family and her friends is her loyalty and devotion without question. There are not enough words to express how much we will miss her beautiful person and fun loving spirit.
