Mary Frances Cox

Mary Frances Cox, 72, of Cypress Texas passed away on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 after a long battle with Dementia. She was born in Austin, TX on August 8, 1947 to Ivor and Mary Jones.

After graduation, Mary became a successful beautician and her love of helping others led her to Cypress Fairbanks ISD where she retired in 2004 from her position as Coordinator of Food Services. She loved her family and friends deeply and after retirement, Mary enjoyed afternoons playing cards, watching the Astros and working at church.

Mary is survived by her sister, Connie Jonischkies and brother Phil Jones, Sr; her daughter Melissa Edwards; daughter-in-law Stacey Anderson; son Russell Edwards; daughter-in-law Kimberly Edwards; grandchildren, Patrick Lane; Courtney Chaplow, husband Steven; Brandon Edwards; Kelli Dickerson; Emily Edwards and Georgia Thompson.

Please join us for a celebration of her life on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home at 9926 Jones Road, Houston, TX 77065. Service will begin at 2:00.
