Matias Olguin

On Thursday, November 18, 2021, Matias Olguin, devoted father, grandfather, and brother, passed away at the age of 68. He was born in Mexico to Dario and Florentina Olguin, on February 24, 1953.

Matias was raised in Mexico till he was a young teenager and migrated to Houston and eventually would settle and make Houston his home.  He met Maria Olguin and was blessed with Orlando, Elva, and Dario Olguin.  Matias enjoyed to laugh and tell great stories about the adventures he had along the way of life.  He loved to be outdoors enjoyed fishing when the opportunity came.  He would often visit cousins, uncles, and sisters, family in general just to see how things were going to catch up and have a good time.  He enjoyed playing cards, pool, gambling in general.  He was competitive man when it came to those hobbies.  He lived in the moment.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving sons, Orlando Olguin and wife Brendy, Elva Olguin, Dario Olguin and his friends and family.

He is gone but never forgotten, leaving his loving memories in our hearts forever.
