Taffy and Family, I am so very sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I can't count the number of times when we were younger that Mike was piled in my mother's station wagon along with many others to go skiing at Labrador Mtn. He was the life of the party.
My deepest sympathy to all of you. Kathy Carroll

Mike will be remembered as a great family man. He always took care of his loved ones. Mike worked many years in the oil business with the same men. He really enjoyed duck hunting with his many friends from Houston, TX. It was a shock this week that Mike has passed way before his time. We are sending our condolences & more to Taffy, your children & family. Rest in peace, Mike. With prayers, Richard Gartner, Geological Advisor, wife Beverly, Georgia & Colleen Gartner

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends of Mike. I knew Mike since I was fifteen years old. We had many great times, skiing, going to Brockport and having fun. Although I haven't kept in touch in a few years, when I think of him, I have a big smile on my face.prayers and love to Mike and his family.

I believe I went to school with Mike at OCC and Brockport. What a great guy he was! I haven't seen him since, but I think of him often when I am reminiscing about my college days. I believe this is the same man, and I just wanted to share this with his family. This makes me very sad, and I will add Mike to my prayers. Condolences to those of you who loved him so. Reading his obit made me very happy to learn of the wonderful life he was leading, a life cut too short. Peace.

We all grew up in a nice neighborhood. The Dineens lived on the next block. Mike's dad Bill was a National Guardsman so sometimes military vehicle was in their driveway. Exciting for a young boy. The Dineens were good neighbors and I remember their German Shepard "Claus". Good times in a simpler world.

It was such a pleasure working with Mike at Black Elk Energy. Sharing hunting stories was so enjoyable. Charlie and Joey were so proud of their dad. It was a family at Black Elk. Literally. May God bless your family.

So sorry to hear of Mikes passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him when he was at Black Elk and me at Freeport-McMoRan in 2011. He was great to work with, and always a gentleman.

Mike is my friend.

I remember happy times at Lake Livingston. He enjoyed the lake, fishing, boating, and sharing a meal with neighbors. He was always was smiling, laughing and enjoying life.

While his present may not be with us, his spirit is. I will smile, and each time I walk past his lake house salute him!

Save me a place Mike!

Our sympathies to Taffy and Family during this difficult time after Mike's passing.
We spent a lot of time together through middle and high school. Whether it was football, fishing, or just plain " fooling around ", Mike always had that " glass is half full " attitude that makes someone want to be around him!
He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered at our coming reunions!
To all his friends and family, grieve with a light heart as I know he would have wanted us to... Again, my condolences, Bob Twichell
