Michael Landmann Anderson, age 58, was born in Houston, TX where he continued to live throughout his life. He attended Spring Branch High School. After high school, he began working in the Auto Parts Industry, and then started his career in the Geotechnical Industry where he gave over 30 years of his life. During this time, he married his wife of 23 years, Karen Gilbert, and together raised their two children Samantha and Cory. When Mike wasn’t working, he spent his time at the beach, or working on his property with his son Cory. Mike adored his grandchildren and enjoyed watching his grandson Brody play baseball while holding his granddaughter Cami on his lap. You could always catch Mike shirtless, listening to Texas country music with a drink in hand. If you were to ask anyone about the type of person Mike was, apart from the crazy stories they could tell, they would say he was the most loving, humble, and generous man who always knew how to make you laugh. Mike will be missed tremendously and always have a special place in many people’s hearts.
He is survived by his daughter Samantha and husband Chris Abbott; son Cory and wife Michelle Anderson; grandsons Austin and Brody Abbott and granddaughters Camdyn Abbott and Avery Anderson. Along with the mother of his children whom he continued a beloved friendship with, Karen Gilbert, and numerous other family and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his mother, Elke Fellien.
