Nicolo Coletti, age 93, passed away June 24, 2017.  His Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, July 9 from 2 pm to 4 pm at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home, 9926 Jones Road, Houston, Texas, 77065.  He will be laid to rest on June 29, 2017 at 11 am at Wisconsin Memorial Park, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, WI, 53005.

Nick was born to life in the Dolomite Mountains of Northern Italy to Achille and Natalia Colletti.   In January 1952, he married Candida Lucchi and immigrated to the USA in 1956.

Nick was preceded in death by his loving wife, Candida (deceased October 1, 1980), and his late life partner, Phillis Miller (deceased February 17, 2012).

Nick is survived by his two daughters, Gabriella Coletti Pridjian of New Orleans, LA and Joy Coletti Izrael (husband Henry) of Houston, TX; three grandchildren, Candice Pridjian Reppell (husband Mark), Andrew Pridjian, and Katherine Christenson (husband Craig); and two great grandchildren, Greyson Reppell and Cecilia Christenson.  In Italy, Nick is survived by three sisters, Irma, Elsa, and Bruna; one brother Eligio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Nick loved the outdoors.  In his youth, he enjoyed skiing, hunting and fishing.  He cultivated his own grapes, made his own wine and sausage, and enjoyed specialty cheeses from Wisconsin.   Nick could often be found working in his garden, which he maintained until he was 89 years old.  Nick enjoyed dancing, playing cards and watching professional football with family and friends, a loyal GB Packer fan until the end… Go Pack Go!
