Nora Edwina (Romero) Lopez

Nora was born on March 22, 1942 in Tucumcari, New Mexico and passed away on August 23, 2019 in Houston, TX.  Nora was married for 41 years to her husband Tony.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Sinforosa Romero, husband Tony G. Lopez, her sisters Clara Fajardo, Olivia Ochoa, Inez Mata and brother Raymond Romero.  She is survived by her children Sylvia Lopez, John Lopez, Edwina and husband James Fowler, Yolanda Lopez and Victor Lopez.  Nora is also survived by grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Ashley and Jay, Lisa, Jason and, Christopher and wife, Sara, Robert, Anthony and Christina, and great grandchildren Zachary, Scarlett and Zion.  She is also survived by sisters Lucille and husband Freddie Palacio, Sheila Marie and husband Rick Naquin, brothers Arthur and wife, Irene Romero, Manuel Romero, George and Jennifer Romero and Sammy Romero along with numerous nieces and nephews. Nora is also survived by her fur babies, Bella and Bailey.

Nora enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, especially in their younger years and loved her fur babies very much. She enjoyed going to Las Vegas and loved playing Bingo. Her favorite show to watch was Wheel of Fortune and her children enjoyed watching it with her to see who could solve the puzzles first. Nora enjoyed feeding people, laughing, going shopping and listening to mariachi music and the blues. She will be greatly missed and may she rest in eternal peace.
