Patricia Annette Goedrich

Patricia Soto Goedrich, age 53, passed away on December 5, 2018.  Patricia was born in Houston, TX on January 16, 1965.  She was a 1983 graduate of Jersey Village High School.  She was married to Robert “Bob” Goedrich, Jr. and they spent 32 years together.  She was also the proud mother to Christopher Soto and Emily Goedrich.  Patricia loved interacting with people and made her life’s work in various customer service roles in mostly banking and retail.  Entertaining and spending time with family were among her favorite activities.  She especially loved hosting holiday festivities and cooking for her family and friends.  Her happiest times though were when vacationing on South Padre Island.  Her best features were her big smile and her soft heart that she tried to hide under a tough exterior.  Ever the hopeless romantic, she loved watching marathon sessions of Lifetime Movies.  Dancing and music were her other loves.  She could always be counted on to be the first one to head out onto an empty dance floor and get the party started.  She especially adored classic rock and disco hits.  However, if “Neon Moon” came on, she would stop everything for a special dance with her husband.  Her exuberant spirit and fierce loyalty has touched many lives over the years.  Her legacy of love will live on in her beautiful young daughter and dear son.

Patricia is survived by her husband, Bob, children, Chris and Emily and Sister-in-Law, Karen Goedrich Rosas and spouse Manuel.  She is also survived by her sister, Teri Seay and spouse, James, her brother Rick Soto and spouse, Rhonda, and her youngest brother Ruy.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Mother, Elizabeth Longoria Soto and Father, Evaristo Soto.  A visitation will be held at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home on Sunday, December 9th from 3-6 pm.  A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 10th at 10am at Glad Tidings Church.  The address is 6803 Grovecrest St, Houston, TX  77092.
