Paul E. Carroll

Paul Ellington Carroll passed away on Saturday January 18 at the age of 93. Paul was a native Texan, born in Munday Texas, raised in Dallas, and he moved to Houston in 1955. 

Paul is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Betty Green Carroll, as well as his daughter Katherine Lynn, and his grandson Eric. 

Paul was an electrical engineer by trade, working full time and going to school full time as well. He spent his entire life in the geophyscs industry, designing equipment to look for oil, and securing many patents. He often took young engineers under his wing, and was well known and liked in his field. 

Paul was a kind and generous man, and a wonderful father and grandfather. Paul is survived by his daughters Peggy and Karen, granddaughter Crystal, and great grandchildren Paul and Austin. He was also survived by his dear friend Shawn, who he considered to be his daughter, and his adopted granddaughter Megan. 

Paul impacted many lives and will truly be missed. May he Rest In Peace.
