Paul Edward McElhaney

Paul Edward McElhaney was called to be an Angel in Heaven on Monday, May 18th, 2020.  He was born October 1, 1946 to Jesse and Sadie McElhaney of Little Rock, Arkansas.  He was the second oldest of 13 children.  He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.  He was an amazing singer, songwriter and guitar player.  He inspired greatness from all that knew him.  He had a wonderful sense of humor and could make anyone’s day.  He is preceded in death by his parents, brother’s Mac, Jesse, and sister Judy, as well as, his wife Ann Bennett.  He is survived by his four children Keith and Carmen McElhaney of Humble TX, James and Gail Deason of Hinesville GA, Horace and Angela Burdette of Magnolia TX, and Jesse and Chasity McElhaney of Kerrville TX.  His grandchildren are as follows, Blake, Lilly, Ashley B, Darren, Tarina, Damon, Byron, Amanda, Ashley M, Crystal, Jonathon, Mara, Chad, Taylor, Tarashia, CJ, Brad, Easton, Dayson, Jace, Penelope, and Callie.  He has 15 beautiful great-grandchildren.  His surviving siblings are Johnny, JP, Joe, Roger, Dennis, Gene, Peggy, Alice, Charles and Robby, along with several nieces and nephews.  He will be missed beyond words can tell.  We will not say “good-bye only see you later.” May the Lord hold you tight for us and shower you with all the love.  You may be gone but you will be forever in our prayers, thoughts and our hearts.  Rest in Peace our sweet Angel and may your wings soar high.
