Tribute

Peter Vito Todaro, of Katy Texas, was called home on April 22, 2022. Mr. Todaro was only 68 years old. The family is deeply saddened by his passing. He was born in Utica, New York on June 18, 1953 to Michael Joseph Todaro and Elizabeth Carmella Todaro.

Peter attended St Peter's Parochial school of Utica, New York. He later attended and graduated from Notre Dame High School. He married the love of his life, Bridget Anne DeKime on September 7, 1974. In 1979, after their son Peter Todaro was born, Pete and Bridget moved their family to Houston, Texas for a new career opportunity. He owned a General Contractor business in construction and mastered many roles. With his ambition, Pete succeeded in becoming a well respected Master Electrician of the City of Houston. He enjoyed teaching students at the IEC (Independent Electrical Contractors Texas Gulf Coast) and thrived for them to become successful electricians. During this time he also enjoyed his tenure with D&L Electric Company where he ultimately retired in 2017. As a loving Grandfather, he enjoyed spending time with his family, watching football, board games, and playing with the grandkids. He also loved playing poker, trying his luck at casinos, travelling with loved ones, regularly attending Texans games as a season ticket holder, and sharing special dinners with family and good friends. Integrity, respectful, honest, caring, and supportive are only a few attributes that others would agree he possesses. As a man of faith in the Catholic community he was a member of the St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Catholic church.

Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Michael & Elizabeth Todaro and siblings Domenica Lord and Michael Thaddeus Todaro.

He is survived by his loving wife, Bridget; Son, Peter [Rebecca] Todaro; grandchildren, Saxon Todaro and Chandler Hamilton, Daniel [Christina] Todaro, Carmine Todaro, Rocco Todaro, and Angelina Todaro; brother, Mario Todaro of Syracuse, NY; sister-in-law, Virginia [Stephen-decd.] Zajac; brother-in-law, David Lord, nephews and nieces; Christian [Lorraine] Zajac (Jazmine, Macen, Logan), Sabrae Zajac, Matthew [Marissa] Zajac (Colby, Arissa), Jacob Lord (Kendra, Jessie) of Chase Mills, NY, Janine Lord of Chase Mills, NY, and Michael Todaro of Utica, NY.
