On Saturday, August 21st, 2021, Phillip Joseph Marone of Liverpool, TX, devoted son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, passed away at the age of 56. Phillip was born in Rochester, New York and lived in Newfane, NY before his parents moved to League City, Texas. He graduated from Clear Creek High School, attended San Jacinto College, before finishing at the Art Institute of Houston; where his love of art, design, animation, and painting were realized. He moved to Liverpool, TX, where his parents retired and where he called home until his untimely passing.
Phillip’s career took on many roles. He was an accomplished artist creating oil paintings, sketches, and portraits for anyone who asked. He also worked in sales, delivery, and customer service for Frito Lay over 25 years. It was here that his warmth and kindness shone and touched all those that knew him.
Phillip was dearly loved by friends and family and was preceded in death by his parents Simon and Cecile Marone. He is survived by his sister Patricia Bryant and husband David Nicholson and her sons Griffin James, Merrick Simon and Pierce Austin Bryant of Cypress, TX. He also leaves behind loved ones from his community, best friends from high school and many friends whose life he touched with his kindness.

He donated blood 95 times in his life to the Gulf Coast Blood Center; Phillip also donated to his local community’s food bank. Please consider donating to the Houston Food Bank in his honor; finally, Phillip was a talented artist. He can be honored by donating to a local community college’s art program in his memory.
