Rae Jean Cardinal, 61, lost her 11 month battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord on August 3, 2018.
She was born on July 29, 1957 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Rosettie and Raymond Harding. Rae was the baby of the family and the apple of her Daddy's eye. She graduated from Del Mar College in 1979 with a degree in dental hygiene. She began a lifelong career in pediatric dentistry. Rae made children smile for almost 38 years. she enjoyed her career, loved her coworkers, and became a great friend to many. Rae was a strong willed, independent, spirited, sassy, loving person. Above all else, she was a follower of Christ. She knew Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins, and there is no doubt that she is in no more pain. Rae is in her new body in heaven with her heavenly Father. Rae is also fishing in heaven with her Daddy. Her children were her whole world, and there was nothing she would not do for them. That did not change when Jaxon and Raelyn came along. "Mimmie", as they called her, loved those 2 babies with her whole being. Rae had 1 fur baby named Benny Jack. Her favorite place to be was the beach. She loved everything about it , the sun, the shells, fishing, the sound of the waves crashing on the beach, and the crystal blue water. Till we see her again. John 3:16.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Harding.
She is survived by her beloved children, Brigitt Raye Hill and husband Joshua, and Ross Cardinale; grandchildren, Jaxon and Raelyn Hill; mother, Rosettie Harding; sisters, Deborah Pitman, and husband Randy, and Rita Bower and husband Jeff.
