Raymond Nelson Kubiak

Raymond N. Kubiak, (65), of Houston, Texas, passed away on October 31, 2023.

Raymond, lovingly known as Ray, was born to Jacqueline and Johnnie Kubiak on August 5, 1958 in Houston, Texas. With a drive to be successful, he put himself through college and received an accounting degree from Southwest Texas State University. After graduation, Ray secured his CPA designation and spent his career in commercial real estate as a property manager. He loved serving his community and was involved in numerous charity drives as well as spending his free time as a troop leader for the Boy Scouts.

He is preceded in death by his parents and survived by Jackie, his wife of 39 years, Son Sean, daughter-in-law Kelsey, grandchildren Grant and Luke, and his brother Mark.

As a dedicated husband and father, Ray’s infectious kindness was known to all who met him. Aside from serving his family and community, he had a passion for bass fishing, fly fishing, and woodworking. His cheerful attitude and mentality on life was inspirational and was evidenced by his selfless nature. He will be missed by all who knew him.

Ray’s family will host a funeral service on Saturday, November 11th, 2023 at 10:00am. The service will be at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home in Houston, TX. 9926 Jones Rd., Houston, TX. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association in Ray’s name.
