“And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the people which are under our charge, and there was no one missing.” But on October 21, 2018 when the servants counted the people, Reine Lavry-Yapo was missing. She went to join the LORD and rejoice in HIS peace. Reine was born September 7, 1981 to Pierre N. Lavry and Marie Y. Lorng. Her dream was to become a mother and serve the LORD. While she was able to serve the LORD, she could not be the mother she longed to be for so long. She passed away due to a complicated pregnancy. Reine was loved and cherished by her inconsolable husband of 15 years Innocent Yapo and many friends and family from Sainte Anne Seton Catholic Church and from University of Houston where she was studying Nuclear medicine. She is preceded in death by both her parents and her unique child Roy Owen. She leaves behind tearful family members and friends who will greatly miss her beautiful smile and heart, her humor and joie de vivre. She made a positive impact in the life of everyone she encountered.
A Rosary will be said in her honor on Thursday October 25, 2018 at 07:30 pm at Sainte Anne Seton Catholic Church, followed by a mass on Friday October 26, 2018 at 11:30 am at the same church.
