Robert Lee Wilson was born on May 31, 1950 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Wayne Stewart Wilson and Ethel May Wilson and passed peacefully on May 12, 2020 at 9pm

Robert and his family moved to Jersey Village in 1961 Robert attended Arnold Jr. High and graduated from Cy-Fair Sr. High in 1968.  His family attended Fairbanks United Methodist Church and as an adult, Robert returned to his roots there and sang in the church choir.  After high school Robert attended Sam Houston State University and earned his Bachelor of Business Administration degree.  After college, Robert started in the plumbing industry at International Plumbing.  Later in his career, Robert earned his Master Plumbing License in 1986.  Robert was a proud member of the Plumber’s Local 68 Union and of the Plumber’s and Pipefitter’s National Union.  Some of Robert’s proudest accomplishments include working on the Reliant Stadium, now known as the NRG Stadium and the Toyota Center.  Towards the end of his career, Robert took a position with the City of Houston as a plumbing inspector and retired with them on October 31, 2013.  

Robert had such a big heart for all of his animals that he was a committed donor to the SPCA.  Robert also was an avid gun collector and was very proud to be a lifetime member of the NRA.  

Robert is survived by his wife, Dana Wilson; his two children Jeremy Wilson and Julie Maxwell as well as son-in-law Josh Maxwell; stepchildren, Stephanie Martinelli, and Jason Martinelli; Sister-Suzie Mills and brother-in-law Ellis Mills; Brother-Scott Wilson and sister-in-law Leslie Wilson; and cousins-Cindy Finley, Gayle Jurica, James May, Tom May, Kathy McCord, and Marilee Wood.

Pallbearers are as follows:  Jeremy Wilson, Scott Wilson, James May, George Jurica, Jason Martinelli and Chris Cleveland
