Roxie Lee Seber

Roxie Leona Lee Seber passed peacefully away on December 25, 2019. She was 88 years old. She was born to Roxie and James Lee on Monday, Labor Day, September 7, 1931 in Houston Texas.

Her childhood was spent in Houston proper, but by junior high school her family moved to Tomball, Texas where she established friendships that lasted all their lives, in spite of the years away and the miles between them.

In 1948 she graduated Valedictorian from Tomball High School and went on to attend Sam Houston State University where she met her beloved Gerald Lee Seber.  After graduation she began her teaching career! But soon Gerald’s career would take their new family overseas for adventures in post WWII Europe where they lived 14 years in London England and later for 3 years in Singapore S.E.A.  Roxie was the consummate company wife, an ever charming hostess of parties, befriending new arrivals from the USA and enjoying painting classes, French classes, travel and exploring new cities!

By 1975 they were back in Texas where Roxie resumed her teaching career.  She spent the next 33 years sharing her love of music, 25 of those in Waller Texas, Holleman Elementary School.

Roxie will forever be remembered for her infectious laughter, her radiant, beautiful smile, great wit and her smarts!

She is survived by her children, Jaqueline, Gary Lee and Pamela Kay; her grandchildren, Christopher James, Megan Lee, William Michael, Graham Leslie, and Paige Ellen; her great grandchildren, Alana Ryan and Shoshana Claire.

Roxie Lee, AKA Trixie Lee, was well loved by all. She was tirelessly devoted to her Gerald, and she will be mightily and painfully missed.  Go with God Mom.
