Sammy David Garza

Sam "Bulldog" Garza was born on May 7, 1955 in Houston TX. Sam gained his wings and was carried away by the angels to the heavens. Sam got his nickname Bulldog through his line of work with over 30 years as a oil and gas pipe designer. One of his biggest loves in life was his love for the sport of boxing, being in the industry since the late 60's. Starting off with amature boxing where he become Houston 2 time golden glove champ in his weight class and later become State of Texas professional referee and judge where he refereed and judge multiple big fighters. Chavez Jr, Lou Savarece, Rocky Juarez, and Juan Diaz just name a few. But his biggest loves in his life was his wife Marie Garza. Sam was survived by his daughter Jessica Vela, son Jeremy Garza, grandkids Victoria, Jachob, Davin, Sammie, Sky,

Christian, Jesse, and Eva. 4 Great grandchildren, Mother Susie Garza, sisters Linda Winfrey, Cynthia Johnston, brother James Garza and numerous Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
