Sandra Lucia Hernandez, 49, died on October 3, 2020. She was born on February 6, 1971 to Jesus and Aura Hernandez in New York, New York.
Sandra’s greatest emotion was her passion to love unconditionally, she captured the humility of serving a brighter future for each of her students from elementary to college levels. Her excitement was to meet great expectations of each child’s education to inspire with excellence. A native born New Yorker but her heart was truly “A sweet gal living the Great Life in Texas”. Sandra’s kind heart displayed the true essence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Sandra’s accomplishments included a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish & Marketing fromn Houston Baptist University in Houston Texas, and a Master’s Degree in Education from St. Thomas University in Houston, Texas. Sandra was an Academic School Counselor for the Houston Independent School District, and an Alumni of Phi Mu at Houston Baptist University. She was also a member of Epsilon Mu Chapter, Concert Pianist at Carnegie Hall in New York, New York and attended Waldina School of Music. Sandra was an active Member and Charity Service Participant in the Junior League of Houston in Houston, Texas.
Sandra is survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Jesus & Aura Hernandez; brother, Roger Hernandez and wife Wendy Le; niece, Faith Madison Hernandez.
