Sharon Lindsay Zwahr

Sharon Lindsay Zwahr (80) went home to the Lord on Wednesday July 17, 2019 after complications related to Alzheimers.  Sharon was born on September 27, 1938 in Dallas Texas.  She attended Sunset High School in Dallas, and then Baylor University.  

Sharon is preceded in death by her parents Willis and Aileen Lindsay, her brother Edward Lindsay and niece Stephanie Sanders (Lindsay).  She is survived by Jim Zwahr, her husband of 43 years and by 4 children, Tom Prisk (wife Judy), Carey Zwahr (wife Jean), Kristi Hayduk (husband Richard), Kelly  Croft (Zwahr), and 9 grandchildren.  She is also survived by her sister Jan Greenwood (husband Bill).

Sharon loved music and literature.  She was a voracious reader and accumulated a wide-ranging library of books.  In the last couple of years, Alzheimers reduced her communication. However, she would bless us periodically with a clear “I love you” and was always ready for a kiss from Jim.  Sharon will be remembered for a beautiful smile, her singing and attending various sporting and performance events for her grandchildren.
