Sheila Anne Kennedy

Sheila Anne Kennedy, beloved wife, mother, “Grannie”, sister, and friend was born to Edwin and Mary Louise DeCoursey on August 24, 1943 in Kansas City, Kansas. She passed away surrounded by her family and friends on November 17, 2021 at the age of 78.

She was an avid Houston Astros and New York Yankees fan (when the two teams were playing each other, only orange would be worn).Her greatest source of joy was her family, especially her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed baking, gardening, fishing, and murder mysteries. She was an exceptional and creative cook who always brought family and friends together through her food.

Sheila is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 47 years, Robert James Kennedy, and her brother Edwin DeCoursey. Sheila is survived by her children Tim, Stacey, Matt, and Neil, her five grandchildren, and numerous friends.

Sheila was a remarkable woman, who touched the lives of everyone she came across. We will dearly miss her!
