Shelli Lorraine Gerren

On Wednesday, August 14, 2019, Shelli Gerren, loving wife, passed away at the age of 52. Shelli was born on July 3, 1967 in Fontana, California to James & Dorothy White. She was a true California girl, enjoyed participating in the choir and swim team, going to school and playing the piano. She always loved participating in church activities. She then married Andy Wilson in September 1989. They were married for 19 years when Andy passed away. Even though Shelli loved and wanted children, she was unable to have any of her own. She did love and assist in raising her nieces and nephews. On February 21, 2009, she married Patrick Shawn Gerren and became a beloved step-mother and Grandmother.

She had a passion for crafting, cross-stitch, quilting and traveling. She enjoyed reading, music and learning about history. She collected Native American art and Halloween village collectables. She was also connoisseur of Mexican food.  She was known for her infectious smile and loving nature.

Shelli was preceded in death by her father James, mother Dorothy and sister Sandra.  She is survived by her husband Patrick, sister Susan, brother John, step-daughter Stephanie, granddaughter Nichole, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The viewing will be on Wednesday, August 21 from 6-8 pm at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home on 9926 Jones Rd, Houston, TX 77065. The service will be on Thursday, August 22 at 2 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on 16203 Logenbaugh Dr, Houston, TX 77095. No donations or flowers needed. Your presence is all that is required.
