Stephanie Ann Matetzschk

Stephanie Ann Matetzschk, age 23, passed away June 5, 2020.  She was born July 24, 1996 in College Station, Texas to Fritz and Mary Matetzschk.  The second of four children she grew up loving and playing with her siblings.  She attended schools in Bellville, Texas where she made many friends.  After moving to Houston she graduated from Cy Fair High School in 2014. 

Stephanie had a big heart and cared deeply for those around her.  She had an even bigger personality and never entered or left a room without making her presence known.  She made friends wherever she went and people never forgot her.  She loved being with her family and friends, was good at getting the best out of people and making sure that everyone was included. 

She loved big, had fun, made friends wherever she went, and lived life to the fullest.  Knew the words to every song she liked, and she liked a lot of songs.  A fierce protector of those she loved and animals in peril. 

We don’t understand why she chose to leave us but we know that she’s left a big hole in a lot of hearts that can never be filled. 

She is survived by her Mother, Mary Matetzschk and her husband, Ralph Norrholm; her father Fritz and his wife Jeannette; her brother Keith Matetzschk and his wife Karrah, and her nephew Mason Matetzschk; her sister Hannah Matetzschk and youngest brother Frederick Matetzschk; her maternal grandmother, Sharon Mendoza; grandfather Richard Dinnen and his wife Mary; paternal grandfather Freddie Matetzschk and many other cherished family members.  

Family and close friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 4pm to 8pm at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home 9926 Jones Rd., Houston, TX 77065. Flowers can be sent to the funeral home under Stephanie’s name.
