Theresa Ann Daniels

Theresa (Teressa) Ann Daniels, 79, of Houston, Texas, passed away during the early morning hours of September 6, 2023. Theresa was born on August 13, 1944 to John Clarence Gloude and Agnes Vivian Jolivet.

Theresa graduated from Kashmere High School in 1963, and went on to become a medical assistant at Ben Taub, Memorial Northwest, and DC General hospitals until her retirement.

Theresa enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking flavorful meals, and watching culinary shows. She was preceded in death by her husband Jackson Daniels, parents John Clarence Gloude and Agnes Vivian Jolivet, sisters Helen and Thelma, and brothers Frank, Joseph, and Leo. Theresa is survived by her siblings Mary Margaret, Charles, Earl, and Ethel; five children Jackson II, Michael, Mark, Theresa, and Jaclyn; daughters-in-law Veronica, Janet, and Lindsey; eight grandchildren Jozselin, Cameron, Christopher, Mark Jr., Chanel, Michael Jr., Tyson, and Brayden; and two great grandchildren Thomas and Athena.

A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving relatives, friends, and caretakers may say their final farewell to Theresa on Thursday September 14, 2023 at Cypress Fairbanks Funeral Home.

A viewing will be held from 8:00am-9:00am, followed by a service from 9:00am-10:00am. She will be laid to rest at 11:00am at Houston National Cemetery.
