Veronica Gutierrez

Veronica Gutierrez, 42, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2019 surrounded by her loving family.  Veronica enjoyed spending time with her family, country music, and comedy.   She also enjoyed attending sporting events supporting the Houston Astros, Texans and Rockets.  Watching the British version of Jane Austen movies because the American versions were not as good. 

She worked at JPMorgan Chase Bank for over twenty years, starting as a teller while attending the University of Houston, and working her way up to the position of Branch Manager. An avid traveler and adventure, Veronica participated in Outward Bound while attending Chinquapin Prep School.  Went on a month long backpacking journey through Europe were she experienced among other things the changing of the guard in London, Notre Dame in Paris, pizza in Rome, and the beach in Valencia. She is now taking her greatest journey to join her dad, whom she missed every day since his passing.

Her one wish in her passing is for everyone to look after her greatest love and gift, Kennedy.

Veronica was preceded in death by her father, Jose Luis Gutierrez.  Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Jorge Rodarte; her beautiful daughter, Kennedy Rodarte; her mother Hortencia Gutierrez; her sister, Lily Colchado; her brothers, Jay Gutierrez and Joe Gutierrez.
