Dan Lee Sears

Dan Lee Sears, 63, of Brenham, Texas passed away Wednesday January 25, 2023 after a brave battle with cancer. Dan moved from Indiana to Houston, Texas in 1977 where he learned a new skill that would eventually become a career. He was self-employed in the window tinting business for over 40 years where he made many of his life-long friendships. Dan enjoyed coaching his son’s basketball teams, camping, boating, hunting, fishing and traveling with his wife and family. He was a proud papaw who loved carrying on the tradition of family camping and hunting trips with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Freada McMahel. Dan is survived by his father Jack Sears; wife, Paula Sears; Three sons Dustin Sears (Jenny), Jamie Scott (Dana), and Alex Glaser (Alyssa); Four grandchildren Peyton Sears, Max Scott, Casey Scott and Brylee Glaser; Two brothers Dave Sears (Kelly) and Lance Sears; several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held on February 3, 2023 at Cypress-Fairbanks Funeral Home, 9926 Jones Road, Houston, Texas, 77065. Visitation will be at 1 PM CT, followed by a service and celebration of life at 2 PM CT.
