Tammy Lauren Peralta

On Wednesday, January 25, 2023, Tammy Lauren Peralta passed away with her husband, daughter, brother and sister in law by her side. Although Tammy spent the last few weeks of her life hopefully anticipating a much needed liver transplant, she never lost her spirit of faith or hope. She left this life the same way she came into it—victorious.

Tammy was the second child born to George and Virginia Soto on February 23, 1984. She grew up in the Houston area, enjoyed being with her family and friends, and above all else she loved the Lord with all her heart. Tammy modeled love, generosity and a servant’s heart, and she desired all who crossed her path to find freedom in a relationship with Jesus. When Tammy wasn’t working at Krogers, you would most likely find her at church or with her second mom, Tia Lillie.

Tammy married Obed on February 11, 2006, and in April of the same year they were blessed with their beautiful daughter, Julanie. Tammy loved Tetris, playing games with her nieces and nephews, putting together puzzles—lots and lots of puzzles, and spending time in God’s Word.

Left to cherish her memories is husband Obed Peralta, and their daughter: Julanie; brother George Soto, Jr., wife Nichole Soto and their children: Julia,Kaleb, Grace and Wyatt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother Virginia, and father George.

We are all a little better because we were blessed to know her. Although our hearts break because of her absence on this side of heaven, we know it is not good-bye forever. Till we see you again on the gold streets Tammy!
