Gary David McNeely, Sr. was born February 4, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Julius I. McNeely and Olga Rios McNeely.  Gary departed this life July 16, 2017 in Houston, Texas.

Gary was a lifelong resident of Houston and a 1970 graduate from Lamar High School.  He served in the Navy from 1970 to 1974 as a Radar Technician.   Gary worked at Clarke Ehre Produce Company for many years.  He then went to work at Chef’s Produce from July 8, 1989 until his death.  He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, reading the newspaper, watching TV and going on vacation.

Gary is preceded in death by his Father, Julius McNeely.

Gary is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Jo

Son – Jonathan Patrick McNeely of Houston, Texas

Grandson – Joseph Michael Robinson of Houston, Texas

Granddaughter – Alexandra Elizabeth McNeely of Washington

Mother – Olga Rios McNeely of Deer Park, Texas

Brother – Michael McNeely of Galveston, Texas

Brother – Christopher McNeely and wife Janyth of Deer Park, Texas

Sister – Lisa McNeely Kelly and husband Patrick of Houston, Texas

Numerous friends, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews
